Clicking event sets date to start of event

Click on an event that covers many days/weeks/months and the current date is set to the start date.

Thsi has been around a long time and is a little more complex than might be expected.

If the event is a short one - all day, or even 2-3 days then resetting the date might be appropriate - actions like

1. Click event 2. Go to week view to see it's context

The problem seems to be more with very long events - maybe.

Perhaps an appropriate behavior is not to go before today?
