highlighted "today" not being updated if session not closed?

I note in bedework that when I press the "Today" button it takes me to the current day. But, the highlighted day is always the day I logged in. So, for example, I logged in yesterday and did not log out before going home. So, Monday is highlighted in yellow.
The events calendar does the same, except the highlighted day is the day I last restarted Firefox (last Thursday in this case).
The discrepancy has been there for a time, but not as noticeable in the events calendar, since if you leave the browser running the highlighted day is soon far in the past. But, the personal calendar includes more logging in and out (albeit, not daily), so the miss-highlighting shows.
